Steve teaches guitar at various international schools in Hong Kong since 1994 and prior to that ran his own guitar school in Yorkshire England and working with TYPA affiliated to the American school in Taipei Taiwan.
He uses a curriculum of Trinity college Rock School material and also extensive use of his own written program to bring out the best in students, young or old with a view, whether just to have an exciting creative hobby or with an aim to enroll in University studying music or becoming a performing musician.
His friendly hands on and holistic approach to his students and their individual musical needs has over the years produced many successful and happy guitar players. For those students who are not in the locality Steve offers online teaching via Google Meet, Line and Face Time. He is available for lessons in Hong Kong in person and further afield online.
Steve also runs Rock School instruction in various institutions guiding young musicians in the art of working within a band environment with the aim to perform their music at various school and other events.
